Either its "Bulletstorm" from a subsidiary of Epic Games called "People can Fly". Or its a different game. I don't think it'll be UT4 but I still hope for it ;D . CliffyB

For example in UT you need good aim, movement, tactics, mapknowledge and good timing to become a good player. Not only random machine gun spam with a lucky headshot... The PS4 prototypes may not be fully optimized yet, but they can't be serious with the quality of that trailer?! Ok, fine if they leave away the physx particles, but how performance intense would it be to use textures with a higher resolution than picmip or add depth of field? I hope this PS4-bashing by Epic is just supposed to improve the components of the next gen consoles (like the story with 512mb ram for the xbox 360, thanks to Epic (http://www.qj.net/xbox-360/interviews/gears-of-war-is-responsible-for-360s-512mb-ram.html)). But I guess that is too late now, since the PS4 is supposed to launch in Okt 2013. Due to 'familiar reasons', of course. ;) Hopefully, the progress on UT4 is already beyond the point of no return and the game will release also under the new management of Epic Games. Sidopidowombat, DarkHunter and I had some fun with the fury and viper some days ago on Sandstorm, and Teab4g on the other team. Even after jolt and DoS raised to be the spam servers and "killed" old vCTF, i still had lots of fun with the right players, whether on pubs or pugs, finding glitches, trying 200+ fov, playing with speedhack or slowmo (admin toolkit power, that is).. So far the only noticable changes are the multi-dodge, some projectile changes and changed gravity. It's pretty funny: Most of the 99er or 2ker fanboys have said UT3 is slow and grounded (dodge for instance) but the strange thing tho, UT4 seems like more grounded and slower.
Such pre-alpha is needed. This is how game development works. All the UTs used the same mechanics from older UTs (in case of 99 it was the BotMatch addon for Unreal). Epic pretty much build this UT from ground up and trying to involve the split community to developer our game and not just theirs. If you ask me, the complete approach is really nice and something unique which no one did before. It could turn out very well. The example visual clarity screenshot from Perna (the art guy) was really good looking. But that one did not feature all the decorations but the overall look they are going to create. Epic tried to introduce a different speed mechanism by adding sprint. They did not want that dodge spam fest (it's a quite). They added single tap dodge. You can pretty much hold a key, and press in any direction and you do a dodge. The current build hasn't get any delay between dodge (or its very very low). The game looks quite fast with it, but if everyone does that new spam fest, we will get a Q3 bunny hop movement just with dodge spam. And yes, sprint exists as concept and as a featuire in game, but they reduced it. You will normally walk about 940-960 UU (UE4), and after 1sec the auto-sprint kicks in which results in 1250 UU. Some guy was whining a few times cause of that - which resulted in a ban for me. After having me, doing all the work and deal 195 hp damage to the enemy player and then having my teammate killing him by dealing the last 5 hp damage. Smiley_grin
