Title: BTA Clanbase Quick Cup Post by: Bachelor on Mon 13.12.2010 21:28:43 We are biding you welcome to our first official ut3 4on4 bta quickcup on clanbase, hosted by the “B.O.L.T” clan in cooperation with the well known [PHX] “Phoenix” clan. “Big- Deal” and his crew are concerned for gameserver questions and they will provide her clanservers for the cup.
There were a few discussions about keeping the shrinking UT3 community alive. So this will be the first step towards the right way. We are starting the generation of bta cups with a short bta 4on4 quick cup to see how big the request for a bta cup will be. If there will be enough teams and the tournament will run well, there will surely also be a big hosted cup in the close future. Nevertheless we are looking towards a cool tournament with lot of fun and stuff. The teamsize is set to 4 players per team and surely the players will be able to switch with other players of the team after each map as common. The groups will be splitted in groups, maybe more or less if there will be much more or less sign ups as we are calculating at the moment. For those players who never had (much) contact to clanbase, we are also going to give kind of an assistance to be able for getting into the tournament without many troubles and complications. So you can sign up as a closed team (this will be easier for the cuporganizers, so please try first to find or build a team by your own) as well as a single player (as far as you don’t know how to find a team or just were too lazy to search for one ;) ). We will put each single player in a team we’ll match together. We hope to bring those players in our community which we always see at the public bta servers but are too afraid, frightened, whatever to join clanbase and our ut3 community.
