yeah, kind of. :P because i dont really know what obligations you have when in a clan...
i think it would be very awesome to be in a clan though :D

the obligations to join the _dark_ clan are somewhere in this forum lol
for example, in my clan all we need is to a member know how to SPEAK english, to have a microphone, and join us on teamspeak sometimes.
for other clans, they give more attention to your stats, and in others, they just want members, no obligations.
many different ways to join a clan..

haha lol. as i said, my clan is not really serious. we are just 10 players who gathered and we play as a clan, we have teamspeak, our own server and stuff. we just don't take parto of clanbase or clan rankings.
but yes, we play can matches against other clans.
atm i think we are going to play against bk.rt (again), and perhaps eX... not sure
my clan is called "Fick" ;)

N|nj4 - this guy was an active member, but we haven't seen him for 2 months. he just disappeared. no ut3, no xifre, no msn, no skype...nothing. Scotland

as for clan matches... there was a time that every clan wanted to play against us! friendly or not... but we had eX clan, PL, PtE, Warangels, Hellsarmy...all of these wanted to play against us.
Bk.rT asked me for a clan war too, warangeles too. so right now we have these 2 clans wanting a clan war. i have to convince my leader...he's kinda pussy :P

ah yes, and the GiT clan is like our ally. sometimes we play together also.

i think we started to create a website, but not anymore. Ltan (the leader) thinks we don't need a website. we have Xfire, and that's all we need (acording to him)

btw, do you know how to speak english? and do you have a microphone?

May be we should stop spamming here and create some thread named "Searching for a clan for Coreper"?

i would suggest you to speak with GiT clan, they are nice guys, i know them, played with them a bit. Their leader is Acrassicauda, he's very nice guy, i can give you his contacts. They are only 4 or 5 now, so new players are vital for them to play clanmatches.  :)))

yeah, when i spoke with Acra about joining our clans (since they were only 4 members and we were 5 also), he said it would be hard to have a fusion, but we could stay as allies. share clan wars etc.. they are really nice indeed

omg thigor... listen, you and all the others must make DeineLtan change his mind. i think _dark_ once asked us for a friendly clan war. my answer yes, roo0kie yes, crooka yes, and so on... but deineltan NO....
same for PtE. arcane asked us for it, and deineltan said no. on both cases he said that we would get owned and no there was no point of that...
next, eX asked for it too, and he said yes! but nothing happened -.-
PL asked us too...but nothing happened. WA still wants a clan war right now. i said yes...deineltan said no...
HellsArmy asked for a clan war too, but no one talked to no one.
do we need some more clans in our list? sure we do! Bk.rT wants a rematch! how nice...

to be honest, i only know a few guys from your clan [from seeing in UT3 online play]: Heronimus and N|nj4...
and about the english speaking thingy: yeah, i know how to speak english, pretty properly XD
i also have a mic, i have skype, but no xfire or teamspeak [never really got the need to use em, though i think it would be freaking awesome to play using voicechat :D tactics and all :P]
oh, a while ago i also played in a WARfare event advertised on the UT Forums [from the clan Nootsac is in [dont remember the name :P], they also used voicechat, which was pretty fun, though not serious XD and it was a long while ago :P

LOL, our leader is a bit bad by organizing clan wars, yes... he is afraid that our clan gets  a bad image by getting own by good clans such as _dark: ;)
but he is a nice guy besides this. he welcomes everyone to teamspeak, even if they are not from our clan, he speaks german, spanish, english, french.
the difference between our clans? lol, let me see...
GiT has a website, we don't. the rest is equal (except for the members of course)
we all have tamspeak, we have our own ut3 server (we have 3 actually, but 2 of them are only from SirQ (our admin) and they are greed servers) and GiT also has 3. (don't you acra?)

as for teamspeak, all you have to do is to download it! we use xfire just for fon, it is just optional.
and yes, we use teamspeak every match. clan war or not
when we start to play ut3, we also start TS, so we meet quite often there ;)

so it is your choice to choose clans.

oh, and something else: when are most matches held, or when do you usually keep them?
since i almost never am able to play in the weekends, since then im on my laptop, where i cant play as well as on my computer [in the weekends i go home [not in Breda], with my laptop, and during the rest of the week i stay on my room [in Breda] :)]

btw: what do you use xfire for?, since chatting goes through teamspeak...

lol don't ask me. what i said was that since maybe GiT and Fick will be allies, we will share clan wars, like 3 members from GiT and 3 from Fick in 1 team (i think)
and we also enter in clan matches, but we only had 1 official clan match. the rest was friendly.

what do you mean when do we keep the matches? you mean in videos?

we use Xfire just to get known with more people, we can upload videos and screeshots directly from the game, for example if you want to record a video of your kills or your flagruns etc... and you can have friends, and when you want to talk to them, you use it to chat also, when you dont have that friend in TS or msn etc... Xfire is an easy way to contact other in-game ut3 players

and i meant: if there is a specific day you play matches as a team, like friendly matches ;)

ah no not really. we play when someone asks us for a clan match, and then the leaders talk to the respective teams and try to reach a good day for both sides. no specific day ;)

About matches:
We did not have a real big clan match since we don't have enough members yet... the only match we had was a iTDM 2v2  but we're looking forward to playing some vCTF matches as well.

Yes JoaoFCB 3 servers and soon to add an iCTF server for the sake of the good old days.

The facts of Fick:
-everything free, mic and about same play skills requested (Elo around 2500), international, democratic, clanbase but still fun.

This clan is founded by people who wanted to join me and friends I found in game. I'm doing the bachelor of Science in Psychology and have also some real life commitments. I never intended to create an ambitious, serious clan, its just a friend base, for funnier playing because its social.
We are indeed on clanbase, just not yet ladder playing. We can fight every clan match the members want, I dont have any image loss considerations (how can you dare, fcb? :-/), i just wanted to start from the weaker ones to the top.
We played against the BkRt-Juniors and the Surviv3 clan, both won, both not our real potential. Quite some members never showed up again, even Ninj4, one of the most basic members who did a lot of work on our custom chars, mutators and mapping. Thats why i dont make promises to other clans and fix a date.

BUT...
joaofcb should know,
whenever a member of our clan wants to have a clan match and gets enough people of Fick together, he's free to organize a clan match! Enter the ladder on clanbase, I'm fine with it!
We're also hanging around together on ts when normally publicly playing, Heronimus_Prime even makes us an own map.
I cant accept you're saying I'm an coward and evading clan fights, you know exactly its up to you and your presence time here. Prime and me are almost everytime here.

So, join us on ts once and speak to us (rather to me, if fcb is telling you such bullshit :-D) if you're interested. We're not standing in competition with GiT. and the skills of ALL our members speak for themselves (I'm pretty the weakest one, I'm afraid^^)!

So its up to you, join our ts, write me here, on msn, clanbase, wherever.




(and fcb, you'll get virtual punches in your face :-P)
