About the ping issue: Yesterday I played UT3 the first time with 37 ping, on a server located in Italy.
The movements perform totally different, you wouldn't notice some annoying lag before going on the hoverboard as on our most crowded vctf servers.

I'm italian, wanna know what my ping is there? 75/80.  btw it feels already great compared to my usual 130/140 ping on euro servers. I can play totally better there.

Video looks cool but I hate this game, I don't see how it takes skill to shoot people standing still while you stand still.

Vegas great work from your part, maybe a bit too much rypelcamming here and there but it's a very nice improvement, congrats.

To say the truth I was a bit disappointed by the frags, some are nothing special and not that spectacular/suitable for a frag movie (even tho the players are great and would rape us all). Petillan wins for sure, the really impressive frags are by him.

Overall I really enjoyed the video, genius intro and nice end credits. 4/5

yes.. especially with no avril ammo in vehicle fest maps like sand or suspense...ridicolous

And btw imo the players make the server good, not the patch status

About other maps, I wanted to ask the cb admins to add megastructure and/or artemisa and canal warfare as well as rails to the map list (atlascity and slax suck), but then the ladder died and I lost interest. there are some customs that are very suitable for competitive matches (octopus is ok too)

oh now that you saw that, patch the server and keep it patched, otherwise I'll put on my italian shoes and kick your arse!

Shame on MTV for patching and unpatching the server again like 5 times in 5 days. I've asked him so many timez, otherwise I can't play on it with steam version of ut3...

It is really worth to lose the walldodge-after-hoverboard but fixing generally much stuff in the game, I don't understand why he keeps removing it. it's dumb imho

That's surely a good thing for instagibbers, I play ictf at times but I hate w00t and I have 120 ping everywhere so not for me.

Some days ago I got the idea for a CTF hosted cup not only for clans but also for mixed teams, I'm trying to look around and see if there's a bit of interest in doing something like this, but it's hard since, sadly,  CTF is dead and buried in ut3.
I told m4rty about that and he's ok and I see vegas playing ctf once in a while so I'll let you know for sure if there will be further developments.

So mature... making an account just to troll... and most of the h3d guys are 30 or so... so awesome.

Just to be clear I don't give a fuck also about the "who is the best mapper" competition you have in your head, I never mentioned the utf mappers so the bashing starts all with your childish behaviour. I still think plugh is the best vctf mapper around and Rumple's map are a joke. Is it so wrong ?

Really vegas, please lock this cause it's turning into crap, and you can expect also some of the other H3D sub-humans registering to the forums just to troll on me for expressing my opinion, they even made a server called United Tard Force after an argument with utf, having no life leads to this .

About the maps, I'm sicker than you of arena/feelgood/anarchy/shoebox all the time like in dos server, in fact I'm not playing what's left of vctf anymore; but that doesn't mean I have to go on H3D and play with stupid super overpowered weapons in totally gameplay-lacking spam maps (seriously one of those shits you call "new original maps" was a straight line of terrain with 2 flags and like 20 scorpions each side...roflmao) and with bunches of noobs carrying flags in vehicles, so I find your point to be contradictory and inconsistent.

UTF  u.s.a. wanted to have matches with hedsteem in usa servers and they didn't accept to play with normal weapons= total fail. I know them and I tell you it's fucking hard to find a decent player among them. They surely can be full of themselves "owning" the people regularly playing their stuff= total noobs. I don't know a single high skilled ut3 player that likes that stuff.
