Lols the rank means nothing, the system is fucked up, I was ranked 35 at a time last year when I was a lot worse than I am now, and now with my new name I am ranked 2000 or so lol....it just depends from the players you play with, if they're high ranked you'll get lots of elo points from killing them. Try to play for some time in the dfb server in the USA, most of the top 50 and 100 players play there, your elo rating will be boosted like crazy in some weeks 

I have to disagree but don't get me wrong I don't wanna start a flame war on a worthless argument like this  :) the k/d ratio is more difficult to raise when playing vehicle modes imo, btw here's a video of vicerant owning (more than 45 kills 0 deaths) on a random public match with lots of people   not bad I say

And please don't say that usa players can't be compared with euro or japan or australian players cause it's just dumb, we're all human beings and the chances of being good at a game are absolutely equal, no matter where you come from

Soulreapers or pure.SR is actually the best iCTF clan in the game, with people like Effen, Luxxiz (he was one of the best 2k4 players ever), Freeman , Kowa ...

And about Vicerant (5.5 k/d ratio playing vctf only...) yeah you could kill him, but probably you're confusing thehotcake with someone other, he's among the top 5 duelers in the usa, plain amazing

Have you guys copied the idea of this kind of "great players" thread from the UTF forums? 

Don't forget to put LAN in the "network connection" option, it will uncap your fps while playing online, otherwise it's capped to 90 by the servers.

Suspense sucks and will always suck, you can put 200 nude chicks in it and it will suck anyways 

I know how to record demos 

I know they are easier to handle but like vegas said it's bitchy to play them if there are mutators on the server. I'll do it anyway!

bender you know that typing "demoff" in console while watching a demo makes it go fast forward, if you type it again it will go even faster, third time you type it it goes back to normal speed.

 

I know some amazing USA players (vctf/DM) like SiLT, thehotcake, thelegacy,SilKz, PeniX and such, it happens that I spec them and I can record with Fraps, if you/they agree it would be a great addition for a frag video, for sure. then If you want to make a video with only your friends' frags it's no problem at all!
