Was the server full when you had an 85 ping?
Sometimes I also have a good ping when there aren't many players on it.
When some servers are full, my ping rises up to 150.

Do you feel a better gameplay with the low ping?
Maybe it is a wrong information, who knows?
But if you feel that it is much better, then your ping should actually be as low as you said.
Was it the same server where you usually get a higher ping?

Do you remember the Shangri-La glitch I mentioned a while ago?


It is crap!
You have to use the "Low gravity" mutator.
You can see it because his jumps are abnormal.
I saw another video where the author showed that he used the mutator.

I found some other nice glitches that I'll post later^^
(Have to rename, resize, compress and upload them).

I created a new thread.
It is not about UT3 but about the forum settings of the Epic forum:

It is about the missing IMG-tag in General Chat part of the forum.
It sux that I can't use IMG-tags because threads with many screenshots will be huge in their MB size.
Would be nice if you enhance that opinion.
Epic forum's SHOT-tag is stupid, because it only resizes the images in their dimensions, but not in their file size.
My map glitches thread is over 22 MB.
If I could use my own thumbnails, it would be smaller than 4 MB.
The IMG thumbnails look nearly as same as the SHOT thumbnails, but are much more smaller!

As said my next thread version comes more quickly than the other.
It is not a huge update.
I think it is better to make small and quick changes than big changes which take much more time.

Ok, that means only the server can make useful demos?
As client you will see the map/environment but players could/will quickly disappear?
Did I get it?
If yes, then I would write it in my thread.

I think I'll release one or max. 2 more updates, and then I'll make a break.
It has no sence to post 100 bugs if the game updates come very late or never xD.
That means 2 more bugs and we have the magic 50 bugs which should be enough :D
(#45 is clear!)

Still the same.
I guess I only can confirm it as bug if I deactive my sound card.
I don't need sound to test if the sounds are played because I see the text in the console.

Many guys said there are problems with demos in UT3.
What exactly does not work?
I would include it in my list.

Now I finally know why the PES09 of my friend doesn't run online.
That key is in use  Roll Eyes
He bought it from eBay and the seller said it is new but in another sentence he wrote that
he only played it one time and it looks absolutely new and has no scratches or so.
(I never would buy something like that, but my friend did it...)
The guy usually does not need to activate the key if he plays the game.
Only if he wants to play it online.

I wrote him an E-Mail some hours ago (via my friend's account) that I want the Konami-ID, Game-ID and the passwords.
Otherwise he will get problems^^
If/when (I hope when! :D) I get the account information, I also wil play it online^^

I guess that guy is just a hustler.

Because it is normal that you hear the sounds if OpenAL is disabled.
I cannot hear them if I enable it.
Damn, I would need to deactivate my X-Fi and activate my onBoard sound.
I bet it has something to do with the 2 files that I have to rename.

I think it happened to me when a Viper carried me in Necropolis when I had the flag.
My head hit something and I suddenly died and Blax laughed (as spectator).

Question to all:
Can anyone of you activate OpenAL (sound settings in UT3) without renaming any files to avoid crashes?
I have to rename 1 file (wrap_oal.dll).
Ok, but this is not the main question.

I always played with OpenAL.
Since I had some problems, I deactivated it.
Now I hear the sound "Defend your core" in Warfare matches.
I'm absolutely sure that I never heard it when my OpenAL was activated.

So the main quesion is:
Are sounds missing if OpenAL is activated?

P.S. My thought was that maybe not OpenAL is the problem, but the renamed file... (I cannot check it because of the crashes - X-Fi)
