I didn't play TF2 for a long time, but maybe I'll try it again to see what has changed after the update.
I'm only playing the scout, I find the other characters to be way too slow.

both radarfox and predator are from Czech republic, buddies, maybe they know each other in real life as well, dunno, but I guess it's the main reason why radar wants him in the clan   anyway good luck with the application for the clan 

I'm sticking with nVidia since the Riva TNT2 and I can't recall any SERIOUS trouble for the past 10 years. A patch or a driver update always fixed the problem. Never had a reason to consider buying an ATi card.

The only thing that pisses me off lately is the insane power consumption of the top cards. I don't know about you guys but I don't own a small portable nuclear plant that I could put somewhere next to my PC. Buying a more powerful PSU with almost every upgrade is really tiresome....

I have to improve my 10n1 skills. I had some duels against Tomae yesterday and I lost 38:9, 24:6 etc.

His aiming is amazing! I had some ping problems for 2 duels but nevermind :D.

He said pretty good for a vctf player but the results speak for themself^^

Learn the map (try walking through it backwards ), watch the clock and time the important powerups, predict the movement of your foe on the map, don't give up too soon, you can turn-over a match in less than 1 minute and you'll do just fine

Anyone can learn these things, you just need to stay focused - don't ever lose track of what's going on.

I've played with you and I know that when you'll follow these basic rules, you'll be much tougher to beat. :)

I'm trying out Windows 7 64-bit and UT3 has become totally unplayable. I've got huge fluctuations in fps ranging from 80 to as low as 20 on my 8800gts. Even when the fps are good enough the movement just doesn't feel right.

The strange thing is that I'm playing through good old Bioshock that uses the same engine and it's working without a hiccup. HAWX works great even the buggy Cryostasis is working ok so far, it's just UT3 that has to be problematic again :(

B.B. everyone who read The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams knows that 42 is the answer for everything. The book was hilarious, the movie sucked big time though....

My table (and the whole room) is a bit of a mess though, I really should clean... 

You should start with some vacuuming, since this is a thread about input hardware I'll suggest Electrolux. A fine brand of vacuum cleaners, they don't take much space yet are still powerful for some serious vacuuming action (I know what you perverts might be thinking, but this is serious!!)

For taking out garbage, nothing does the job better than a standard plastic bag. Serious UT players prefer BLACK plastic, but it's just a matter of preference and personal taste.

Next, you should check for AwfulUnderwear, playing UT can get pretty intense, but you don't wanna be caught with a brown patch on your pants in the middle of the match - that would be a Humiliating Defeat straight away!

This brings us to the washing machine. Now this is really important. You can tell a good UT player by the washing machine he uses. For example you might think that skill is what makes Mordsspass a good UT player, nah you're completely wrong. The trick is in the washing machine - his is actually so loud I could hear it on TS (I'm not making this up, this happened, ask Mord) Therefore I'd suggest Whirlpool - it's a well respected brand the GUI is rich with options yet simple enough so that you can even let your girlfriend play with it from time to time.

So as you see we are not interested in pictures of your PC case, we are interested in photos of your vacuum cleaner, a package of plastic bags, washing machine and if you are brave enough, your underwear.

Holy crap sike!  that's a LOT of kills. Strange that we almost never meet in-game lately. What are you playing these days, TDM & BTA mostly?

It all sounds good, but without a specific date it's difficult to say whether I'll be available. Give us the date and I'm sure you'll get a response and ppl will show up.

My guess is that you wanted to pwn him with rockets so much that you walked directly into his standing shock combos. It happens to me too on sentinel. I move too much while the other guys static gameplay can prove to be a real pain in the ass on this map. It's too small and rather easy to control. Whoever gets the first kill has a huge advantage IMHO 

You guys should try 2vs2 TDM. Smthng like Mord&Vegas vs B.Bender&SpIitter.... now THAT would be entertaining to watch (and listen on TS as well. B.Bender's constant OMGott and Epic Fails and SpIitters jokes directed at Papa)

A couple of months ago I played The Reckoning - one of the missionpacks for Q2 and surprise, surprise it was still pretty enjoyable 11 years after it was released.
Those were the days I had my Celeron on lightning fast 300MHz!!!!! 

More info pls Vegas. I'm running XP for what seems like ages and I'm considering a switch to Win7 64 when it comes out. What about 64bit drivers for your other devices & peripherals, do they work ok?

And what are the other reasons you're sticking with XP? Is there smthng important that didn't work in the RC?
