how come noone has ELO over 3000?

Mouse: tuned aaaaal the way down to 400
UT3: 2100

takes a full swing to make a 180 turn.

I use the Razer Exactmat mousepad

  I'm surprised how many of you guys prefer higher sens.
At least it shows that there is no "right" setting and it's mostly purely based on personal preference.

The same applies for mice. I think it doesnt matter much what kind of mouse u use, the most important thing is that it will fit right into your hand and u feel comfortable using it. Then all the settings and DPI stuff is kinda a useless trash talk. There is no way a mouse will make u a better player.

4 this things u can use a mouse with on the fly change of sensitivity. Only press the special button - low sense to aim with sniper or shock, once again and - tadaa, high sens.

Or u ask SpIitter, how he do it. 

Hey Splitter how can i set this thing? 

You'll have to have a mouse that has this feature like for example the MX518 - I have it but I don't use this feature at all. I've tried but found it too distractive. When I'm in a middle of a fast fight I really don't have the time to adjust my sens.

btw I personally think that it's easier to hit combos with lower sens. Especially when you are trying to make a movin' combo you have to be very precise to hit the core. With higher sens. any small twitch of your hand makes you move your crosshair too much IMHO

The lower the sens. the better. Might not work for every1 but it works for me

do skilled players have fav. weapons?

i dont think that way sorry. i dont want to know how the gameplay would be if there is one weapon missing. and no! why are these specific situations? if you are not in a vehicle you have this situation all the time... sorry in that point i really disagree

I'm not arguing with you  everyone has it's own style. The game would be terribly boring if everyone would be the same. I just have the feeling that all problems could be solved with rox/shox/flak/sniper. Of course the weapon preferences vary from person to person and we could argue over and over what is the "right" weapon to use at any given situation.

Healing of course that is kinda obvious so I didn't mention it.
Sometimes it's good to clear long narrow corridors and yes it can be used as a finisher. But these are specific situations that don't happen that often

Come to think of it link gun is even more useless than the Stinger. The primary fire is really worthless, if the secondary fire was more like a lightning gun from Quake it could be powerful. But brcause of the short range it usually ends it with someone firing a rocket right under my feet :(

I think it's just lame, but ok, it's everyone's own opinion.

If anyone spams the Stinger on me, I just counter him with Rox/Flak when he is close, or pick him off with shock if he tries to keep his distance.

hm, I might even go there...I will be in Vienna with my gf arround this time anyways, might as well go to that festival.
But the tickets are pretty expensive..do you know if it is possible to get a ticket just for one single day?

Hmm, I'm not sure if it's possible but I've come across this on the last.fm forums regarding the event:

"no timetable yet. will come some weeks/days before it starts. one-day-tickets will be available in may/june. but they will be VERY limited"

My next weakpoint: the stinger - I just miss anything with it! 

I just don't bother to use it at all. It's only usefull to finish off some that has taken 2 shots from shock and I know he has only 10HP left. Oh and maybe to scare off/harass Raptors.

  is such a n00b weapon, but I hope that maybe some day.... some day I'll be able to rock with the most badass weapon, THE STINGER. I've heard that it takes years or even decades to master 

In what aspect of the game do you want to get better? Is there anything you've seen in the game that you cannot pull-off but would really like to?

Movement? trickjumps? timing items? hitscan accuracy? prediction shots? particular weapon?

tell me damnit :)

Personally I would really like to hit more combos. I think that's the most difficult thing to master and that's why I use shock so much, even though sometimes it's not the best weapon for the given situation.
