I have Quake II and Ground Zero

My laptop isnt powerful enough for UT3 xD

Atm on my laptop i put Quake live plugin on it today, aswell as Quake II (+ mission packs) and some other oldergames that will run on this piece of shit XD

but 2day i played quake II on my PC xD - i forget how good older games really were

Just got this, pretty fun ^^

Good for a laptop game

Thought i would make a post about some of the classics i recently played

Some of you may have played some of these in the past

Quake (I and II) - Great games of the time, was the Rival of early Unreal Games, both ran on similar engines, bonus packs for Quake II are also great fun

Unreal Return to Na Pali - Brilliant game for its time, it showed unreal engines potential in 1998, and the year after UT99 was released, as so many people enjoyed the bot matches and online capability of Unreal

SiN - Seems not as many people have heard of this game, it looks like it ran on a similar engine as Quake II, i really enjoyed this game, SiN Episodes came out with the Source Engine in 2006, it seems the company that made SiN was taken over, and SiN is now discontinued :(

Deus Ex - Probably one of the best games i have ever played, it is kind of a RolePlayin RPG like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. You have an inventory for waepons items etc, but you have to do missions and side "Quests" throughout the main story of the game, each thing you do can change the ending, there were 4 endings. Deus Ex 2 was a dissapointment, this also had 4 endings but there was less to do, the inventory was smaller, and it was just hugely limited compared to the first game. Deus Ex 3 comes out sometime late this year or early next year. It will be a prequel to Deus Ex, rather than a Sequel to Deus Ex 2

 

Make it so it works on all resolutions including 16:10 aspect ratio (1680x1050)

The blood things you used look like they are from gears of war, but looks good

no i paid 1 on my own which was named server #3

fijut paid 2 on his own names server #2 and #4

Bob paid 1 on his own called server #1

If you read one of my posts above we all paid for servers

i paid for 3 on my own

Fijut paid for 2 servers before he joined the clan, and gave them to us

Bobsnail paid for server 3 on his own, he asked for donations and got like 2, he withdrew his server

Fijut was about to withdraw his anyway

and i couldnt afford to pay mine this month, im tight on money

Let me just say one last thing - as everything else has been said

i said it when i closed the clan in more words - but it was a priviladge to have had each and everyone of you in my clan - even the ones that were removed for inactivity, like Eat The Meat :(

@ _Dark_ - I no longer care about K_G_/_Dark_ Story, i already made my choice on who i believe

@ K_G_ - Lets just ignore them and hopefully this topic will be closed as it DOES break alot of Forum Rules

@ Corrupt II - Good luck with the new clan guys, look forward to playing against you, and i hope to stay in contact

 

too be fucking honest, i think this topic has gone well out of order and bypasses most of the forums rules. Shut it down and keep it that way.

If you all have nothing better to do than argue over a game from one of MY decisions, about a clan that i RAISED, paid a server for (other members paid for servers too, i appreciated that...) i made the forums, tried to keep the forums tidy, look professional (Considering they were Free Forums) i tried my best to get the clan through tough times, our first clan match a huge arguments broke up because we lost to ICTK, resulting in chris leaving us for the second time, Headshot leaving, Superjim leaving, i brought the clan back from its knees, _Dark_ set us in motion and i made the clan play other maps, other gametpyes. Then i got us into clanbase, i did movies for the clan, i was a good leader. cristwelrine and Fijut were rewarded with Server admin responsibilities, forum admin responsibilities, they also contributed to getting the clan to where it was as all individual members of the clan did, i was the soul, the beginning, and the others were the body that kept the clan moving. I decided to end it as i thought it was the right thing to do, I didn't want people getting annoyed at a change in leadership like when i changed Co-Leadership from Eat The Meat to Chrisaw2008. I didnt know who to put incharge, originally i would have said fijut but a conversation just a week ago BEFORE he became a multiplay admin was that he was fedup of the titan pack (Like i was saying too) and he may quit the game and MAKE A CLAN IN UT2k4. cristwelrine had become increasingly inactive, so she wasnt a logical choice at the time. Chris wasnt a choice with the problems that other clans had with him, so i thought the BEST THING TO DO was to CLOSE THE CLAN ENTIRELY.

After fijut became an MPUK admin THANKS TO ME!!!! he became alot more active and now wants to ressurect the clan, good for him.

but STOP ARGUING OVER IT NOW - ITS GETTING OLD - ITS GETTING ANNOYING TO READ AND I DONT WANT TO FALL OUT WITH ANYMORE PEOPLE OVER SOMETHING SO PATHETIC AND STUPID - GET LIVES AND DO SOMETHING OTHER THAN ARGUING - LEAVE IT BE

I was the one that said UT3 is too small community to argue other a game, mords, yet you all condemn my actions, because i wanted more free time.

At the end of the day guys, whether you like me or not, what happened in corrupt is corrupts business only, i don't feel that it should be any one elses business tbfh. Just leave it alone. Good luck to what ever fijut and chris do to corrupt, now leave me be. I have enough on my plate with exams without having to be subject to insults because of a decision i made.

but _Dark_ removed it's Leader, his brother, and his friend. That isnt really an honourable thing to do, K_G_ got _Dark_ to where it was, _Dark_ would not be the "Feared" or w/e you want to call it clan of UT3 had he not started it.

Usually i would stick with a clan till the very end of its existence. I just gave up with it, i will stay friends with most from corrupt and continue to speak to them in Xfire and Steam Chat. The only few i probably will never speak to are ones without IM applications :(

and so on... But the rest i didnt speak to much b4, so i doubt ill ever speak to them again. I still want to be friends with most of u from _Dark_ and such but if u dont like me for what i did then ur entitled to your opinions.

I havent really got anything else to say on the matter, everythings been said, all is discussed, time to move on.

Ok so here is why i disbanded corrupt:

1. Exams - Top priority, I dont have time to lead a clan, make decisions, recruit etc
2. Inactivity - There were many members become inactive in the clan
3. Money - I could not afford to keep the server going at the moment, Fijut was withdrawing his, bob already had done (The forum however is FREE)
4. Spam - The forums were becoming inceasingly spammy and full of crap that i couldn't be bothered to delete
5. Members - There were some members in the clan that were hated by pretty much everyclan, such as chrisaw2008, we tried to make it look like he left the clan, and a new member "Pe0" joined, it didn't work thanks to headshot
6. I disbanded the clan because of what happened to K_G_ when he shifted leadership in _Dark_

Finally, if you felt so strongly the clan should have stuck together, there was nothing stopping you all grouping and forming a new clan and picking your own leader.

- oh and about the "Hate K_G_" thing, i mostly slagged him off when he manta exploited in my server and fijut banned him, and i know K_G_ has said some nasty things about but we sorted that out and he knows this.
Also, the game has too less players for everyone to fall out at everyturn
Basher and K_G_ hate eachother so.. i dunno what happened there xD

Anyway, i didnt disband corrupt to join L.o.L despite what you all may think, i actually was going to just Admin UT3 in my spare time, revise for exams, and mess around more with 3DS Max, but last friday i was speaking to K_G_ alot and then joined L.o.L after that.

Your opinions on me probably have changed alot now, but theres nothing i can do about that now, sorry it had to be this way
