Shame they let UT4 die because of Fortnite.

Dude, tell me about it. Some Dark members are still playing together, almost daily even. Wojci, Atomrolf and me are hitting PUBG together with Myrb and some new players. Or DeadlySev in CSGO. It's amazing how long we've been playing together already. However, nothing compares to the UT3 experience as tacky as it might sound. UT3 has been something else.

Anyway, nice to have you around again!

Got some of my old members on Facebook, but as far as I know none of them play games anymore.
I think the only way for some to come back for a few games would be UT4 with vCTF.
Nowadays I mostly play Apex Legends with my gf and friends.

I agree, UT3 was great fun back in the day and have fond memories looking back. Even if the rivalries sometimes went a bit too far .

BTW, they said they are working on a PC only game that hasn't been announced yet.
So I'm presuming it's a UE4 game to promote the engine, huge change it's UT4 or maybe a completely new project to keep it fresh.

Epic's new game is Gears of War: Judgment, not UT4.

FYI, People Can Fly(from Painkiller, Bulletstorm, ...) are working on Gears Of War: Judgment.
That still leaves the entire Epic Games studio, which is a lot of people, to work on UE4 and stuff that isn't announced yet.

So don't lose hope .

To be honest, haven't had a chance to play it in a decent way.
Took me 5 tries to get into a match because it either crashed or couldn't find servers.

There was a bug that you couldn't change bindings, which is fixed now but the binds are limited.
Can't change the binds for moving around.

What is it lately with only having a quick match function for joining servers?
CS:GO doesn't have a decent server browser as well, only the function to select gametype and to randomly join a server.

Been a long time since I've played Tribes, time to get into it again .

PUG and clan wars in the beta Tribes were organized exclusively for whitelisted accounts.
You have to apply on some partner web sites and join PUG on the fixed time via a console command.

Custom and ranked servers will come with the final release, but IDK if you can join them without ever having spent a dime (VIP status).

You have VIP servers, no idea what's extra about them.
I "accidently" got VIP-status because I thought you had to buy the game, but all I really bought was VIP status, some in-game money and a beta spot. Thought those were pre-orderer bonuses.

Is Dark interested in playing wars in Tribes?

Tribes Ascend comes out of Beta on 12th april 2012.
The full release will get some more maps and content, and will be free to play. Hopefully they will add demo recording functionality and support modding.

All I really want is some decent server browser, more CTF maps and demorec. If these 3 things will make it to the game at some point I'll gladly

Nah, I kept the xp since the armor and weapons I use are already mastered and I did not unlock a specialized class yet. But unlocking one single weapon for the Juggernaut did cost 100.000 - totally worth the fun to siege an enemy base.

Btw. a new patch was released, mostly irrelevant changes.

Because Epic kept coming out saying "we got a huge reveal at ...", with huge reveal your mind goes to UE4 but it was just another game .

New Unreal Engine means new UT, I'm guessing UE4 will be released next year together with UT4.
