Ok, I won't mention about the appropriate music. 
The floodgate lift jump and the core sniping might be useful, otherwise they're a bit too slow paced to be practical, at least in the 32 player titan server I play in.

Show me more Aka, good stuff!  I never bothered to try tricks in warfare like in vctf, even though some of them could be very useful! I tried some of the confrontation tricks today and they definetely worked. 

For example in Downtown when you've lost you're last prime a good route with orb is to go on top of the building to jump boots and hammerjump straight to top of the prime node building. A very simple trick, which I never thought of until I actually saw someone use it. 

Nice tricks.   :) I usually just hammer jump from one side, but some of those tricks might come in handy.

 Must take some weird stuff to like that.


 

I suppose most of the best players have already moved on from UT3 to other games, so the skill pool is a bit limited. 

Yeah I think he's lost only a single game in ESL against pseih, and even that was because of the elo system, he did have more frags combined, but a smaller ratio.  

Here's a better match imo, or at least more enjoyable to watch.  You need to register to quadv to see the on demand stream but it's worth it.

I'd probably fail every jump at pings like that.  But I guess it's a matter of getting used to it.

Yeah, I don't deny it was a very impressive and successful run.  But the title best hammerjump ever was misleading since it was just a basic route.

aka_sova of course fails his jump due to high ping and not being nervous. 

 

A modest title.  I expected maybe something more fancy from the run itself to be the 'best', but the video itself is really nicely done. 

Never happened to me, but I usually get <200 ping even in american servers.

I've lost one hdd due to lightning, or at least it wasn't working after a storm. 

Ah, I thought it might be but was too lazy to check.  unforgivable of course. 

watched this a while ago. Sure they're highskilled but the watching the match was pretty boring. It's just about who gets the powerups and predicts the enemy movements best. DM is for the simpleminded.
