The Dell model is the only 27 IPS-panel with 2560x1440 resolution on the market at the moment. It's also used for the 27" iMac screen.

Personally I have 3x23" 1080p monitors. Or at least soon will, one of them is a 24" model at the moment but I'll replace it with a Dell U2311H so they're all the same size. Eyefinity is great, but there's still some problems with game support, a lot of games don't support eyefinity properly and the fov is screwed like in UT3.

Somebody likes UT3.

I don't think I've seen you anywhere, so can't give an opinion, so it's basically a no. Just my two cents.

I wish Youtube would give more bandwidth, or maybe it's my ISP, but I can't seem to stream youtube anymore at any setting becuase the download speed is always slower than the stream speed and I have to wait for it to buffer.

Nice Neversleep.   I respected you as best what Terrorist has to offer in terms of friendly players, but alas it seems I was wrong and you're just a kiddy. It is you who should learn to behave before writing something, even if you were trying to defend your buddy. We'll see in jolt if I need to learn to play, perhaps you'll teach me?  

Arguing about which clan is best is relatively pointless anyhow, we haven't played real wars in ages they're all friendly and people are hardly even playing vctf nevermind actually training as a team.

I don't think that'll happen since besides the megapixels its going to need a long zoom lens too, and those propably won't scale down easily. But who knows, maybe in the future we can just make virtual world still photos and videos with our cameras. Now that would be cool.

Nope, it's an AM3 board, asus M4A785TD-V EVO. I'm using a phenom II 955BE@3.6GHz.  

The sata ports placing could be better, and the cpu cooler retention is bad since basically all aftermarket cpu coolers will end up pointing the wrong way. I might buy a Scythe Mugen II next week to replace the current AC freezer pro, since Mugen allows to place the fan so that it'll blow upwards in my case.

As for the temps, GPU stays under 65c full load, and CPU should stay <60c. This is with fans low, a few degrees lower temps if I change the bottom fans to max. Couple few days it's been close to 30c in my room so it shouldn't get any hotter. 

ive seen that case before or a simular one that has the mobo turnd 90 degrees... i dont know what to think about that..is it really better? and the cable mess at the right lower corner isnt visible right when u but the side panel on ? XD

Silverstone Fortress series also has 90 degree mobo direction, it's very similar to Raven series but with aluminum frame and simpler aesthetics. Personally I preferred the Raven design, FT was just too round. Cooling is superb, temps dropped about 10c compared to my earlier case, and it's still quiet. The design does have a problem with certain passive heatpipe gpus since the hot air tries to go up while the pipes might try to spread heat down.

Here's a better pic with the side panel closed. I could clean the clutter a bit, reroute the cables a bit to make it look more clean if feel like it. I just have a lot of stuff inside so it might look cluttered anyways. 

Is it a 1GB or 768Mb model? Hopefully Nvidia will release the full version too eventually, since 460 has some shader parts disabled too, like the 480.


My new case arrived yesterday. It's a Silverstone Raven RV02.


GPU is still the same ole GTX 275 with AC accelero xtreme cooler. I'll probably buy a new gpu when the 6000-series from AMD/ATI launches in Q4.

 

I love when I get killed by impossible shots trough wall (fury!!), bio I just deflected with shock, invisible core combos, or get stuck on invisible destroyed vehicles. Epic did a smashing job with all the nice bugs.
