Most probably it depends on the rest of our systems, the graphics card seems to be my limiting factor though. Every bit of oc helps a lot. Try to increase the gpu and shader clocks a bit with the the expertool (direct dl / Gainward homepage), it runs also if you don't have the Gainward Bliss ed.  wink2.gif

Nice system! xxxw00t.gif

Water cooled hard disk drives! Cool ...someone that knows what to do if no metal case is used!
I hope no gypsies ever get to see your machine, else all the polished copper is gone. :D

Now that's what I'd call an enthusiast case.  xxxlaugh.gif

Mine is a bit more modest:

The good ol' lady seemed to accumulate dust over time.

Bye 9600gt,

hello gtx460. Grin

After the f***ed up 480 this is the real deal from nvidia.
>100fps sandstorm 1680x1050 @ everything maxxed + driver controlled 4x antialiasing & anisotropic filtering. 336 stream processors for the coming cs5 gpu support (the 9600gt had only 64 and was below the level of my core 2 duo msn001.gif)

NVIDIA PhysX Particle Fluid benchmark:
gtx460

34fps

9600gt (same for cpu rendering - core 2 duo @ 3,6ghz)

1fps

gtx460

35fps

9600gt (same for cpu rendering - core 2 duo @ 3,6ghz)

3fps

Is it a 1GB or 768Mb model? Hopefully Nvidia will release the full version too eventually, since 460 has some shader parts disabled too, like the 480.

My new case arrived yesterday. It's a Silverstone Raven RV02.

GPU is still the same ole GTX 275 with AC accelero xtreme cooler. I'll probably buy a new gpu when the 6000-series from AMD/ATI launches in Q4.

It isn't mine anymore. Someone was in need for an inexpensive graphics card capable to run Starcraft II at high details, a card with a quiet fan.

Silverstone Fortress series also has 90 degree mobo direction, it's very similar to Raven series but with aluminum frame and simpler aesthetics. Personally I preferred the Raven design, FT was just too round. Cooling is superb, temps dropped about 10c compared to my earlier case, and it's still quiet. The design does have a problem with certain passive heatpipe gpus since the hot air tries to go up while the pipes might try to spread heat down.

Here's a better pic with the side panel closed. I could clean the clutter a bit, reroute the cables a bit to make it look more clean if feel like it. I just have a lot of stuff inside so it might look cluttered anyways.  msn011.gif

Nope, it's an AM3 board, asus M4A785TD-V EVO. I'm using a phenom II 955BE@3.6GHz.  afrodd.gif

The sata ports placing could be better, and the cpu cooler retention is bad since basically all aftermarket cpu coolers will end up pointing the wrong way. I might buy a Scythe Mugen II next week to replace the current AC freezer pro, since Mugen allows to place the fan so that it'll blow upwards in my case.

As for the temps, GPU stays under 65c full load, and CPU should stay <60c. This is with fans low, a few degrees lower temps if I change the bottom fans to max. Couple few days it's been close to 30c in my room so it shouldn't get any hotter.  xxxlaugh.gif
