I got this game a few days ago, and I can recommend it to anyone who likes RPGs.
The story has a lot of twists, which you can influence heavily,  there are hundreds of quests (to finish the game, you need at least like 50 hours) and the fighting system is very demanding.

Most magazines/websites rate it with 90% or more.

Here's a trailer (wtf Marilyn Manson?)

The only new game I've bought in a long while. A must for rpg gamers. Took me 73 hours of gameplay to get trough. I should actually go continue my lesbian elf mage playtrough.  msn011.gif -->

^^ 44 gameplay hours so far and I bet it's gonna take many more to do all the sidequests + the main storyline. I'm playing on Hard difficulty so some of the fights are a bit more challenging but I'm absolutely luvin it. Finally some newgen RPG that makes you to think a bit before you throw yourself into a battle.

Dunno if thats good  xxxlaugh.gif

But is it worth to buy it, even if you are used to play egoshooters? I played Gothic and morrowind a few times and kinda liked both.

Let them say I walked with giants. Men rise and fall like the winter wheat, but these names never die. Let them say I lived in the time of Narcisuss, sculptor of physiques. Let them say I lived in the time of Zyzz.

It is probably as good as these games or maybe even better, but unlike Gothic and Morrowind, it is a party role play game, that means you don't controll one person from ego perspective, but a whole group of 4 individuals.
This way, the fights are very demanding tactically because you have to controll 4 characters at the same time, but I think the game experience is not as "intense" as it is when you play an RPG with ego perspective.

This is a "typical" fight in Dragon Age:

yeah, it's not as fast paced. You have think more about group tactics. Overall it's more complex and sophisticated and requires more micromanaging than games like oblivion or mass effect. I'm not saying it's a hardcore rpg though, I think that time passed when they started making these things with consoles in mind.  Roll Eyes

Oh and that youtube vid certainly doesn't depict the way I fight my battles.  msn008.gif

Yeah, same here, looks like the vid is from the console version where they don't have the (bird eye) tactical view. How it could be played without it is a mystery for me.
Happy to be a PC gamer Wink
